*I can't remember where I got this from. I snagged it from someone on LJ. Anyway, I love it.

Mostly, my journal is Friends Only. There are some entries that are unlocked, but the ones that are more personal are locked.

I'm willing to add anyone who would like to be added. :)

There's something so magical about the Fourth of July. I don't know what it is, but I love Independence Day here in the U.S. I have memories of hot dogs and firecracker popsicles and watching the fireworks with my family... And I always get a strong patriotic feeling run through me on this day. I love it.

I hope everyone else is having an amazing day (whether you live in the U.S. or not!).

It's been a long day! I have an essay due tomorrow that is taking way longer than it should (I let myself be distracted way too easily). I've also been really stressed trying to figure out my schedule for next year -- it's much more complicated being a senior, I think.

Anyway, this song came up on my iTunes and I couldn't help but smile and sing along, even though I was feeling like crap. I love this song. Download it! Hopefully, it will cheer you up as well!

You know when you're so tired that you're wide awake... to the point of being almost deliriously high? That is where I am. Oh yes.

I didn't get to sleep until 5 or 6 this morning and then I was up at 7:45, showering and heading off to work. I'm damn proud of myself for getting there on time (only 5 minutes late) for once and getting some homework done for a group project.

Now I'm going to eat some soup, watch some TV, do some more homework and maybe get sushi tonight. Whoo.

Ooh... by the by, I saw Gym Class Heroes in concert this past weekend and they were completely hilarious! It was such a good time!

I also have some album recs here: Britney Spears -- Circus (there are a lot of songs on there I really like... lovely comeback), Taylor Swift -- Fearless (White Horse is one of my favorite songs, hands down... the acoustic version is bomb awesome), Nickelback -- Dark Horse (there are some decent songs... I haven't had the chance to listen to every single one yet, but so far, so good!), Beyonce -- I Am... Sasha Fierce (Did anyone else see her perform on SNL? Her skit with Justin Timberlake and Paul Rudd was hilarious. I love her songs If I Were A Boy and Single Ladies so far!), OMGG! Gossip Girl Soundtrack (xoxo) and finally (and this one is old, but I didn't fall in love with all of the songs until recently, because I catch on late) A Fine Frenzy -- One Cell in the Sea  (Some of my favorite songs are You Picked Me, Near To You, The Minnow & The Trout, Come On, Come Out... I could name the whole album, so download it if you haven't already!).

I've been obsessively downloading songs... I'm totally loving music right now. And there are so many bands I don't know! It's exciting! (If you want me to upload one of the albums, let me know...)

I love this song by Scottish singer Amy MacDonald, called This Is the Life... she's got a great voice. Check her out:

Oh my Gosh, has anyone seen Rock of Love Charm School?

I'm watching the newest episode where the Dutchess of Birmingshire is visiting. The Dutchess turns out to be an actress, but this was probably one of the funniest episodes ever. The girls kept stumbling over her title -- how freakin' hard is it to learn the woman's name?!
